Milind Kulkarni is a modern exponent of Hindustani classical harmonium. Starting at the age of seven, with the encouragement of his parents, he learned fast under the tutelage of successive gurus - Vasantrao Gurav, Anna Diwan, and Pramod Marathe. He also receives accompaniment instruction from leading non-harmonium artists too, including vocalist Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar and tabla maestro Pandit Suresh Talwalkar.

Milind has accompanied many distinguished and senior artists including Zakir Hussain, Pandit Jasraj, Prabha Atre, Rashid Khan, Suresh Talwalkar, Veena Sahastrabuddhe, Anindo Chatterjee, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Kumar Bose, Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande, Ullhas Kashalkar, Swapan Chaudhari, Ajoy Chakrabarty, Rahul Deshpande and many others.

Milind is also well known for his solo performances. He has won the hearts of audiences and performed at most of the prestigious venues in Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai and outside of India. His harmonium playing has tremendous energy, precision and aesthetics which all inspire and uplift the musicians, performance and audience.

For the last few years, Milind has been devoting time to teaching students of all abilities and backgrounds how to play the harmonium. He does this through his classes, workshops and online courses.
