Srijanee Banerjee is an acclaimed sitarist who began learning from her father, Shri Chandan Banerjee, before training under Late Pandit Ravi Sen, Dr Niladri Sen, and now Pandit Partha Chatterjee as a Senior Scholar at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy.

A first-class graduate in Modern History from the University of Calcutta, she has received honours including the Sitar Kesari award and the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture. Srijanee has performed at major festivals and cultural events across India and internationally, touring Germany, Spain and Japan with the all-female ensemble Female Affairs.
