Meet your Teacher
Jesse Bannister is an acclaimed saxophonist and composer renowned for his innovative performances. With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Jesse has graced venues across Asia, Europe, and the US and composed for prestigious orchestras such as the HallĂŠ Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the City of London Sinfonia.
Jesse has trained under the guidance of British sitar maestro Dharambir Singh, as well as vocal legends Pandits Rajan & Sajan Mishra.
Pandit Jasraj once described him as âthe future of Indian classical musicâ.
As a music educator, Jesse has dedicated himself to sharing the joys of Indian music. His passion for the art form led him to start teaching at the Leeds Conservatoire. Jesse has worked closely with the Darbar Academy team to develop this course.
