Indrani Mukherjee is a Kolkata-based vocalist who performs khayal in the Kirana-Rampur style and thumri in Purab Ang, known for its grace and delicate tonal embellishments. With a diverse artistic repertoire, her training emphasises the literature behind bandishes (compositions), creating an aesthetic blend of lyrics, tala (rhythm), and laya (tempo) that fully express the emotions of a raga.
Indrani has performed at the Darbar Festival and has been with us for several years. She began her musical journey learning from her mother and aunt before training with her grandfather, Sanjib Banerjee, and later under renowned gurus like Pandit Arun Bhaduri.
As a scholar of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, she has taught students of all levels for many years, including online courses that reach learners globally. Indrani is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping students improve their singing abilities through our courses.

Indraniji's patience and non-judgemental encouragement helps build confidence. She is an excellent teacher and creates a personal connection required to establish the guru-disciple relationship. The homework and feedback are extremely valuable. The swar sadhana helped make strides on swar gyaan and swar sthaan.
