About Us

The Darbar Academy is a premier online learning platform and app dedicated to nurturing a new generation of Indian classical musicians who will sustain this art form with pride and passion. We bring lessons to the comfort of your home, offering focused online LIVE classes led by some of the world’s most distinguished musicians.

Our curriculum caters to all levels — from beginners to advanced students — and includes Hindustani vocals, harmonium, tabla, and sitar. Each class is designed to help students master their musical skills while also developing a deep appreciation for Indian classical music. All live sessions are archived, allowing students to revisit and get on with their riyaz anytime.

Beyond live classes, we offer on-demand learning options, such as our Indian Classical Music Appreciation course, allowing students to explore its history, theory, and beauty at their own pace.

We are also at the forefront of transforming how Indian classical music is taught in schools in the UK, with our comprehensive course aimed at learning Indian music on the keyboard.
